These Terms & Conditions for attendees apply to every person registering for the Spring I/O 2022 conference, to be held in Barcelona, Spain from May 26-27, 2022 (hereafter referred to as “the conference”).
The attendee will complete the registration form through the ticketing platform at https://reg.springio.net, accepting the payment and following the instructions on the website to formalize the registration and its corresponding payment.
An email acknowledgement and invoice will be sent after the receipt of the registration, a confirmation of payment will be sent upon receipt of payment in full. Payments should be made in advance and in EUR only, using a credit card, debit card or by wire transfer.
Purchased tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the conference we welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no extra cost after having received the ticket payment in full.
The tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances.In case of re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets, we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.
If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, the conference organisers reserve the right to refuse additional registrations.
It is your sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. If you require an entry visa, you must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure. Your registration details might be shared with the immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, the conference organisers will not contact embassies and consulates on your behalf.
To receive an invitation letter for Spring I/O, you must first register and pay the registration fees in full. You will have the option to request an invitation letter by contacting the event organizers at info@springio[dot]net
If you are not granted a visa, the registration fees will be reimbursed (less 50EUR administrative fee) if, and only if, you provide info@springio[dot]net with an official document from local immigration authorities, showing the visa rejection and that the application was made at least one month before the conference (26th April 2022).
In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the conference organisers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the conference organisers, the conference organisers cannot be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc.
Under these circumstances, the conference organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to credit it for a future conference, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
The conference organisers reserve the right to modify the programme. No refunds can be granted in case of cancellation of speakers, lack of space in the conference room or any other incidents during the conference which are beyond the control of the conference organisers.
